Anticipate Change to Always Be in Time for the Future
To make significant leaps in our work processes, AGD engage in step improvement efforts, cut red tape solutions, harness information technology initiatives and drive efforts to improve management of resources. We leverage on the use of information technology and the Internet to make our processes increasingly integrated, accurate and efficient.
We build robust systems that move us ahead of the value curve. We constantly refine and manage our systems and procedures to anticipate changes in technology and to ultimately meet our clients’ needs.
Simplification, standardisation and improvement to the documentation of our processes have moved AGD a notch higher in work efficiency. For our efforts, we achieved the ISO 9001 certification since in 2000, 2005 and 2008. This has laid the ground work for future improvements.
Service performance is not just about customer satisfaction. At AGD, we serve our customers with professionalism and passion. We provide the personal touch by building close rapport with our customers, actively seeking feedback and consulting them on their preferences, so that we are able to customise our services to fit their needs and provide workable solutions.
We aim to nurture an attitude of service excellence by increasing quality service awareness, instilling a greater sense of service excellence and measuring the kind of service we give to public sector.
As an affirmation of our dedication to customer service, AGD was awarded the Singapore Service Class award in 2006.
People are our greatest assets. They are the ones who make things happen.
In reaffirming the importance of our staff, our focus has been on creating a working environment which promotes excellence, initiatives and creativity.
AGD has successfully done this through Staff Suggestion Scheme where staffs are given the platform and space to suggest improvements on any aspect related to AGD. Also, through ample training opportunities, we energise our people to be self-driven and help them to fully develop their abilities and potential, achieving high personal standards.
All these contribute towards building a stronger culture of, continuous learning and enterprise to drive the Department forward.
