Internship Programme
AGD offers internship programmes to undergraduates who wish to gain experience in accounting and finance related work in the Public Sector. You will know first-hand that what we do in AGD is beyond number crunching. Under this programme, interns will get the opportunities to work in a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects.
Internship Experience
The AGD internship experience is aimed at providing valuable and practical work experience beyond the academia and in helping interns develop an interdisciplinary perspective, giving them the significant edge when seeking employment.
Under the internship programme, interns get to:
- Participate in reviews of how Government operates and whether Government’s spending is value-for-money. This involves going for field trips and external meetings.
- Participate in research projects on international developments.
- Present the outcome at management or senior management level.
If you are interested in joining our internship programme:
The internship window for post-JC students is from Mid-January to April. For local university students, you may join us from Mid-May to August.
Internship Application
Apply to us through AGD_HR@agd.gov.sg or through University internship portals.
Post-JC students’ application period: From 1 to 31 October. Submit application with prelims result, CCA records and a photocopy of your IC.
Local University students’ application period: By 28 February. Submit application with the university results, CCA records and a photocopy of your IC.
