The AGDians got ACTIVE in October at Fort Canning Park. The values of "Healthy Living, Healthy Eating and Teamwork" were brought across through many creative games as the department sweated it out to compete for the top prizes.
For starters, everyone was divided into teams for a telematch. No strangers to Captain’s Ball and Frisbee, AGDians displayed enthusiasm and vigour in the games. The educational component incorporated in the other games also imparted interesting facts on healthy diets.
In the midst of travelling to the different games stations at various park locations, AGDians got to enjoy the beauty of the park. At the end of the day, while some teams did not win any prizes, all AGDians were in high spirits. Ultimately, it was the fun and bonding time shared with each other that made this event a rewarding one. This would not have been possible without enthusiastic participation from all. On this day, AGD had a memorable and extraordinary Children's Day.
