ELECTRONIC INVOICES FOR GOVERNMENT FROM 1 MAY 2008

An e-Invoice system has been developed to allow you to submit all your invoices online!

What are the benefits?

With the e-Invoice system, you can enjoy the following benefits:

 i) Promptness of Payment. Suppliers can expect prompt payment in accordance with agreed payment terms. E-Invoicing eliminates the risk of misplacement of hardcopy invoices.

ii) Ease of Tracking. Suppliers will be able to track the status of their invoices through online enquires anytime, anywhere and at a time convenient to them.



How do I send e-invoices?

To start sending your invoices electronically, all you have to do is to log into Vendors@gov and start submitting invoices. You can gain instant access to this e-Invoice system with either your SingPass and EASY access code, or your AGD Password.

Transition Period

There will be a transition period of 6 months (ie up to Oct 2008) for suppliers to adopt e-Invoicing.



Exclusion

The following groups of suppliers are excluded from the requirement to send invoices electronically at this stage in view of the practical constraints faced by them:

 i) Small proprietorships that do not have quick access to Internet at the point of procurement of sales, for example, newspaper delivery agents, bus operators, canteen operators; and

ii) Vendors registered or located overseas.

No more visits to the banks to get bankers' endorsement on the Direct Authorisation (DCA) Form ! If you have a bank account with DBS, OCBC, UOB and Citibank, we will electronically verify your bank account details with these banks. You no longer need to personally make a trip to the bank to get them to endorse that the bank accounts details are correct on the DCA form.


New E-services Coming Your Way.

Update your bank account details online!
An online Direct Credit Authorisation (DCA) Form has been developed which allows you to submit the DCA form online now. What's more, you can also now update your bank account details via this new online e-service. All you have to do is to login using your Singpass as an individual or using your EASY access code and SingPass if you are representing your organisation. These e-services are only applicable to Individual or Organisation with EASY and Singapass access.

For existing users, you can still log on using your current password through "My Club's/Society Payments" to review your payment details or update your contact information.
