AGD Scholarship

The AGD Scholarship programme is designed to cultivate exceptional young talent for strategic leadership in public finance and internal audit.

Types of Scholarship

The AGD Scholarship is tenable for local undergraduate studies and local/overseas postgraduate studies. Scholars will be required to serve a 4-year bond with AGD.

Pre-University Scholarship

  • For applicants who have not begun University

  • Applicants in National Service may apply throughout their service period

Mid-Term Scholarship

Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Currently studying eligible course outlined below

  • Completed more than 1 academic term

  • Minimum of 1 full academic year remaining

  • Strong academic results (2nd Upper and above or equivalent)

Choice of Study

The AGD Scholarship supports undergraduate programmes in Accountancy, Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Management, Economics, Finance, and related fields.

Scholars pursuing a non-accountancy undergraduate will be required to:

  • Attain an equivalent professional accountancy qualification recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants; or

  • Attain an equivalent professional finance qualification recognised by international recognised professional bodies (CFA, CIA, CFE, etc); or

  • Complete a Masters in Accountancy as a mandatory post-graduation requirement.

  • National University of Singapore (NUS)

  • Singapore Management University (SMU)

  • Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

  • Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

Academic Requirements

  • GCE "A" Levels or its equivalent

  • Strong academic results

Other Requirements

  • Singapore Citizen

  • Strong leadership qualities and potential

  • Good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records

  • Keen interest to pursue a careerwith AGD
